The newly appointed manager of Newcastle, Alan Pardew lead his team towards a well deserved victory against Liverpool.
The match ended 3 - 1, Nolan, Barton and Andy Carrol scored for "The magpies". Kuyt scored for Liverpool.
Despite the victory, Newcastle fans were not pleased with Chris Hughton dismissal last week and protested the entire match.
