   Jol has resigned from Ajax Amsterdan and according to some inside sources he is interested in the vacant position from Newcastle Utd. Martin has some competition for the job. Alan Pardew is the man that the boss of Newcastle Mike Ashley wants.

If you asked my opinion, and it's only an opinion, Martin Jol is a highly paid manager, and Alan Pardew would be on a lot less in terms of salary, and for that reason you would think it would be more likely Pardew than Jol."
