Hatem Ben Arfa close to a permanent transfer at Newcastle FC !

The 23 year-old French midfielder came on a season-long loan form Olympique Marseille in the summer. Ben Arfa played 4 matches for Newcastle until october when Manchester City's Nigel de Jong broken his leg in two places. Newcastle manager, Alan Pardew met with the player and the club is willing to pay up to 5 million pounds for Hatem Ben Arfa.
The French international is expected to return on the pitch in february 2011.
