Massimo Moratti, Inter president said that: " Sneijder became a key player for Inter last season and will be this year, and for many years to come.The negotiations started a despite the fact he had a long time to go on his old deal but with mutual satisfaction they were completed this morning."
Moratti also made some comments regarding the ballon d'or nominees stating : " I have spoken about Sneijder winning the Ballon d'Or, but let's not forget there are other candidates. As a personal opinion, Moratti is right. Millito should have been nominated for ballon d'or. He was an outstandingly efficient striker. No Millito - No UEFA Champions League trophy.
